To ensure that Meadow Feeds continues to supply the highest quality animal feed to the market and its customers, we undertook a shelf life stability study of our bagged products from January 2023 to January 2024 in conjunction with our technical partner Cargill Animal Nutrition, a global leader in the animal feed industry.
The research and development conducted by Cargill included testing key-elements in the feed, levels of which are most at risk of degradation over time, namely vitamins and minerals.
We are proud to announce that the shelf life of Meadow Feeds bagged products are extended to 6 months from the date of manufacture, without compromising the animal’s health and performance under South African environmental conditions.
